Friday 6th July. We have been invited by the Maldon Business Association to a Social Evening straight after our meeting  at the Blue Boar, Silver Street, Maldon. 6.30pm for 7pm. This will include a buffet.

Unfortunately Paul Hoskin was unable to attend but John Harris and Warren Tydeman  were there to talk about Harris Knights and the role of the FSA. They explained about the recent changes in the law. We were also pleased to have a visit from our new Maldon Mayor, Peter Stilts and Mayoress, Jeannette Stilts. They explained some of the Civic duties that are expected of them and their role in Maldon.

Sailing Barge - THISTLE (1895)

A survivor from a different age, the Thistle links the ship building traditions of the Clyde where she was launched in 1895, with the Port of London, amongst whose hustle and bustle she spent her working life.
